>A Meal at Jollibee

>Jollibee is the McDonald’s of the Philippines. It’s especially popular with kids because of the giant bee mascot. They specialize in burgers and fried chicken. They also have Spaghetti, which seems to be popular in the Philippines.

Wrapped up in the wrapping it looks like a burger, but it is actually rice.

Here is the burger, with cheese fries

Shrimp salad

Halo Halo is a Filipino treat – shaved ice with candied fruits, ice cream, coconut and condensed milk. The purple ice cream is Ube, my favourite flavour – a purple yam.

Even better that the food were the advertisements on the wall. I don’t know how appealing it is to think of spring rolls as spools of thread…

Burger sunflowers are a little bit of an improvement

Dad- it looks like spaghetti!
