>The first morning and Jeepney fun

>The first morning I was so wide awake at 6, we decided to take a Jeepney for fun. This is my first Jeepney ride.

I was surprised to see you pay in coins. I didn’t even know they had coins here, the bills seemed to be worth so little.

We stopped here, at a monument for the Guerrilla revolution.

I am not sure what the KKK stands for. I met a cute puppy.

I wish I knew what these herbs were for.

People on the streets were selling everything.

From cheerleading accessories to fake documents of any description.

A little kid plays on the street.

    >The Katipunan was a Philippine revolutionary organization founded by Filipino rebels in Manila, in 1892, which aimed to gain independence from Spain. The word “Katipunan” comes from the root word “tipon”, an indigenous Tagalog word, meaning: “society” or “gather”. Its official revolutionary meanings are translated as Kataas-taasang, Kagalang-galangang Katipunan ng mga Anak ng Bayan (Supreme and Venerable Society of the Children of the Nation). The word were used by Filipino revolutionary rebel leaders. Katipunan is also known by its acronym KKK.;-)Love the no blowing of horn… nobody does it in Manila… 😉
