Phuket – The Temple

Also from the archives, a very beautiful Buddhist Temple in Phuket.

The first thing that greeted me was this tree

Nearby you could buy offerings for the Buddha

Lots of “Temple Cats” around

People were lighting loud strings of fireworks inside these big kilns

I found my favourite – roasted coconut (a drink). They are the pale circular ones next to the fresh coconuts.

Inside this temple were many buddhas and relics

Up some stairs and some more buddhas

At the top were some sort of relics in glass – I think they might have been teeth?
